Yesterday, I found this adorable puppy wandering around our neighborhood. Something about her made me stop and, after inquiring with several neighbors as to who's dog she was, I discovered she was probably abandoned. No collar, no home. So I scooped her up and brought her home, couldn't bear the thought of her getting hit by a car or left alone.
After a little research, I've deducted she's a sort of Patterdale Terrier and Border Terrier mix—resulting in a well-tempered, laid back and exceptionally loyal dog. She's about 5 to 6 months, extremely well-mannered, cute as can be, freshly bathed (by yours truly!), appears to be healthy, house broken, kennel trained (she slept in there all night with no accidents) and comfortable outside and around other dogs. She's also good with kiddos! One of the neighbor's toddlers came out to play and this pup couldn't have given him more TLC. Just charming and hilariously curious. She's made me laugh every few minutes.
Will you please help me find a home for her? We're in the Houston area and she's staying with us until we can find someone who will love her dearly in their own home, or until a space opens up at a pet adoption center. (I'd just hate to put her through the latter, she's so sweet and those big brown eyes are just begging me not to.)
Pass this post around to any friends or family in the Houston area that might be in need of a sweet and adorable puppy—let's find her a home!!
